This week, we look at some very strange reports of telephone calls from the dead. These aren’t stories about hearing a voice buried in static or trying to contact someone on the other side. In these accounts, people answered the phone and recognized the person calling them. Some even had entire conversations without realizing anything was wrong.

We’ll talk about a call that reportedly came at almost the exact time of death, a thirty-minute conversation with a woman who had already died, a woman who unknowingly called a childhood friend who had been dead for six months, and perhaps the strangest of all, a call received on a telephone that had already been disconnected.
