In 1974, a single mother in Culver City reported something that wouldn’t stay in the background. What began as strange lights and movement quickly turned into something more direct, more physical, and far harder to explain.
Investigators Barry Taff and Kerry Gaynor documented what they could, but nothing about the case was controlled or repeatable. And as the activity unfolded, it stopped looking like a haunted house and started looking like something centered on Doris herself.
When she moved, it didn’t stop.
This episode looks at the “Entity” case not as a place-based haunting, but as something that may have attached to a person. Whether external, internal, or somewhere in between, it never fully resolved.
And that’s what keeps it alive.
